Who makes that mount the Redarc is on?

Thanks. I have seen a few mounts for that spot that are advertised to hold an ARB compressor.

Grab some steel and make your own.... and make the spot to get the master cylinder out easier. I built my own and I made it go tight to the master cylinder.. its great until you need to R&R the master cylinder.

Please keep the compressor out of the engine compartment unless you are moving to Fairbanks

Video of the squeak I've been dealing with that's been narrowed down to a bad spherical bearing on the bottom mount of the coilover (most likely option) or a bent coilover shaft causing a bind. Tearing it down tomorrow to look into it further and then everything is getting shipped to Accutune for a rebuild and revalve because it needs it anyway. In the mean time, I'll probably pull the spindles off and weld on some completely unnecessary Total Chaos gussets because they're $free.50 and I'll inspect the ball joints and other front end pieces for any signs of wear.

Great lookin 4R Blake.
Thanks. It's getting there. Was a strong starting point with a lot of good parts. Just trying to clean it up, fix some stuff the previous owner cut corners on (like all the hacked up wiring I replaced), and get all the maintenance caught up.

Oh I know this. I was looking for ideas on where to mount a Redarc like Blake has. If I ever do an ARB compressor it will go in the back cargo area.

I like the OffGrid Engineering battery tray mount for it. But they were out of stock and it was more expensive than the PowerTray. Either one could easily be made though. I just didn't want to mess with it since I was trying to get it all done before my trip.

I wouldn't say the gussets are unnecessary. You'd be surprised how easy those spaghetti spindles bend, a tough speed hump at the mall if given enough speed can cause damage.

They are definitely necessary if you wheel a lot. It doesn't take much to bend them (even a little bit).

Or create a 'safe' mount for it in one of your bumpers. :)

Just like Accutune thought, the spherical bearing is what was fucked up. Still not sure why the coil is so off centered compared to the shock body. Dropping the coilovers off at the shop this afternoon to have the coils removed and then all four shocks are getting shipped to Accutune as soon as I find a box for them. In the mean time, I'm going to try and find replacement for my KDSS bushings, get the spindle gussets on, and hopefully that's it. Everything else appears to be in pretty good shape.
