Spent Sunday changing out the rear shocks and fixing an issue with the shift lock not working.

Had to take apart the gear shift assembly and clean it up.

What was messed up with the shift lock? I know the older rigs have issues with the "hardened plastic" shift guides.

What shocks did you end up going with?

a sticky part caused by spilled soda, up until a few months ago you could hear a loud click when the shift lock disengaged (caused by sticky dried soda), then it wouldn't disengage at all and when I would use the bypass it would not reset unless I put it in park and hit the center console. Well I finally had enough and took it all apart and cleaned the hing point with alcohol.

Yeah I used the rear shocks from tex.
