Apparently Rivian and Tesla are also planning similar setups.

Is there a protest or something we can sign to prevent these hipsters from ruining natural environments?

I suspect that solar panel array is not enough to really power a vehicle. I read it would take like 4 days to charge a Tesla using a 110 outlet. I doubt 3000 watts of solar can do it in a timely fashion.

Now, if they want to put one of these in the parking lot at the big parks, like Yosemite, I don't have a problem with that. But out in the middle of nowhere on a trail seems like a terrible idea. Either they won't be able to generate/store enough for a vehicle to use in a timely fashion or it will need to have power lines connected somehow.
