Just talked to TOYTEC about my springs that have been backordered for over a month and now they are telling me they have no idea when they will ship. Is there another spring I can use with these bilstien shocks I have for the front.

What is the length, diameter, and spring rate you need?

I'm not sure what I need, and I don't know how to figure that out. Not trying to come across as a smart ass I just don't know. I ordered all this stuff from TOYTEC because I've had good luck with them in the past and just went with what they said. I think I can run my stock spring just move the adjustment plate up on the shock body but then I'm right back where I started with wore out springs. The only other stiffer spring I can find is OME and I just don't want to go that route.

I am no expect either, but I think that a lot of people use 1st gen Tundra coil springs on Bilstien struts for 3rd gen 4runners.

I'm trying to run down info on the TRD coils that SANORAN STEEL uses but I don't know the specs on them either.

PM Mauzer. He figured out what all the Sonoran parts really were and pieced together a kit himself.

Thanks drew I will do that.

And thank you to larry but I'm just afraid the stock runner coils won't carry the weight of a winch etc.

The sticker is a great way to cover that burn mark on the hood. Also you can never have enough layers of sound deadner. My truck has a minimum of 3 layers all around lol

Thanks, the sticker on the hood is not so much a sticker as me spending a couple hours with 1/4" masking tape and some stencils and some flat black rattle can so not much sound deadening lol. It turned out pretty well considering I have no patience for detail work like that. I just hope it holds up to the elements other wise I may have to have a sticker made to cover this up. I'm still pissed that I had to do anything, I liked it better all yellow.
