Build a new one.

Gotta build a barndo first, then pull the 1978 Redneck revival trailer house out from that 40 x 80 carport.

I ended up ordering a matching side cabinet and rolling storage cabinet for the basement area. These aren't the greatest quality they are all put together with rivnuts so it's like an ikea type deal, but they will work for some light duty storage down here. Moved a few things in the cabinet already but have some random things in spare bedrooms and my garage that I'll be relocating to this area now. The HF lights were on sale too so I ditched the old fluorescent tubes that always flickered for two single LED lights and one quad light.

Here's the name of the company of the cabinets, I found them locally at sams club for cheaper than on their site and they shipped them out for free. Only one side of one panel had a small dent I was able to pound out so I was happy with them.

All 3 LEDs on, it's like daytime down here.

Installed a pneumatic can crusher in the shop today....one of those bored and nightshift Amazon purchases. After the fittings and lines and the cost of the machine itself I'm into it for close to $150, I need to better manage my money lol

That is slick. I have one my brother made me about 10 years ago. Thing is a beast, the ram is huge. It is capable of running at 240 PSI... I don't run it near that. I've wanted to modify the base of it to eject the flat cans using the expended air from the cylinder pretty much since I got it... but I also planned to fix my truck and clean my garage and rewire the trailer... lots of projects and no "round to its". lol

yeah the model with the expended air was the seller for me, once its crushed i never have to touch it again and it just lands in the recycling bucket. 240 psi i can't imagine that, good lord...this one is only at 90 psi. I'm worried without the guard and a few cold ones some dumbass (probably me) is going to lose a finger in there it's just a matter of time. I too have"round to its" that never seems to get around, maybe one day when I retire and I have every day to tinker but until then I am happy with knocking off a few projects here and there.

Yeah, I have my regulator set at about 110 PSI, because "fuck airtools" :D I mounted mine on some old piece of wood and have it at a bit of an angle to allow the beer juices to drip out through the holes in the bottom of the crusher. Before when it was level it just sat there and collected bugs. You can tell by the dust that it gets used regularly. I have not bought or drank a beer in about 4 months so the only thing it would be crushing these days is a soda can.

You weren't kidding, that thing is a beast! I bet that would crush regular tin cans as well as soda/beer aluminum cans.

Sadly it's not tall enough to crush anything but a normal 12oz can. But yeah, I don't think it would have a hard time with a tin can. Hmm... going to need to save a tin soup can or pumpkin pie mix can or ? over the holidays. Let er rip on one and see if she can smash it.

Spent a couple hours this afternoon before coming to work cleaning up the garage. Put all the Christmas shit back in the attic and loaded up a bunch of junk to haul to the dumpster at work. Wife told me it was time to put some organization in the garage. Been putting it off because we’ve had bigger things to focus on. Going to take out both wooden shelving units that are currently there and replace with a heavy duty metal unit from Husky. May add a standing cabinet down the line as well. Wooden shelving units will get repurposed. One will be sanded down and repainted for use elsewhere in the house and the other will get cut down and mounted elsewhere in the garage for spray can storage. Still waiting on a flammable locker to come up for grabs at work. Along with hanging storage for lawn tools, it should get me through until we replace the cabinets in the laundry room and I hang the current ones over my work bench and toolbox.
