The shop at the new place is gonna need a lot of work, need two, 10x12 doors, about 4 or 5 sheets of new tin. There is no electrical (no plugs and lights), but has 100amp main there. My boys and I spent most of the day cleaning it out of junk.

Got a temporary electric going for the necessities. Not sure why he didn't put the panel inside the shop. I'm gonna eventually move it to the inside, I think there is enough loop on the existing wires.

It's a hot mofo out here, I'm good for about 5 hours cause this metal in the sun is probably 130+ degrees. I have 4 short pieces to do above one bay opening and 1 vertical piece to the right of the bay opening. Then the jake trim on 3 sides, all the corners pieces, header trim on the bay doors. Still looking for someone to install two 12x12 shop doors. The shop was missing about 50% of all the screws as well.

Ok the shop has been done, found someone today to buy & install the two bay doors, 12x12. Gonna put a deposit down to have them shipped(in stock with their supplier) and hopefully an install date est. 2 weeks. Est. install price $6k

A farm neighbor has numerous rolls of BX wiring, exactly what I need to wire the shop. Im thinking atleast 2 of 12/2, 250' rolls. Probably gonna do some sort of bartering, instead of me shelling out a few Benjamin's for the wire.

I have shop doors now! Yay.
Now I can start moving tool boxes, shop tables etc and commercial shelving units over.

I need to obtain some BX wiring as well.

Got tired of looking around for the time in the shop, got this off eBay. 6” tall letters and 18” long. Doesn’t look that big once it’s up on the wall but it’ll do rather than checking my phone if hands are greasy or dirty. It can also display temp and calendar for dates if you enable scrolling mode.

What is your ceiling height where the lift is at?

14’, I believe the lift is 12’6”

A car or truck can't exceed the 12' level is that correct? Cause there is a safety bar/cut off switch.

I'm trying to figure if I have enough height in this newly acquired shop for a lift.

My shop is 30 x50, 14' in font, slants to the rear and in the middle of the shop I have about ~12..6 in height. Guess I need to take measurement on the rear/low side again, I forgot.

Yes there’s a bar about 4-5” that hangs down on top and if the car roof hits it, it shuts down the motor. A regular car or truck probably isn’t an issue unless you have a tall cap or something, vehicles like a box van certainly come closer to the top at the max lift height. You can see the safety bar in this pic. Also this atlas has two adjustable height settings where it can be set lower by about 8” I believe. I have it on the higher setting since the ceiling can accommodate

So, I worked out a barter deal to get 3 rolls. Just gonna take the skid over there for 5 hours of land clearing and 2 hours with the tractor for cleanup.
