What have you done to your ride lately?

At least they're the A/T and not the M/T version lol I'm currently running that same tire.
Decent tire, just wasted on a pos suv and no fucking sidewall. She thinks she needs AT since it's "4wd" (pretty sure it's just that automatic AWD bs because i haven't seen a selection switch) and she goes to her deer lease twice a year in it lol

I have 35" KO2's on the 250 now. I might have 2000 miles on them.

I left for work on Friday morning and I got a low coolant message on the dash on our S60. Went back home and confirmed that I did have a coolant leak. It's a common issue where this old brown plastic part fails so they updated the part with a stronger type of plastic supposedly.
It sucks bc it'd easier to replace just the plastic part without replacing the rest of the hose but the silver ring isn't able to be taken off without damaging the hose. So you have to replace the whole piece. At least it's easy to take off with those push button connectors, no tools needed.

I also ordered a new air box for it because the plastic clips holding it in place has completed sheared off and the box is just flopping around. I also saw the air box was rubbing it's way into a large wiring harness (I had ordered wire loom repair sleeves awhile back so I'll be using it on this wiring loom to close it back up).

The Volvo is how old??
9 years old at this point. It drives and rides so nice that it's worth fixing. It's also paid off and I don't want another car payment right now...or anytime in the future.

I finally got tired of bending the trailer wiring hookups when off road. Tonight I relocated them into the bumper like they should have been from the factory. Matches how the new bumpers are designed now.

I did the same on my Tacoma. It's nice not having to worry about it being low.

I got the new airbox in yesterday. I wasn't expecting it to be brand new because the price was cheaper than used ones on Ebay and it's a genuine Volvo part!

I got this wire loom wrapped up in that loom repair tape. I think it hardens overtime IIRC. The airbox had rubbed through the outer sleeve all the way and was just starting to work on the wires.

The backside of the air box that had sheared off. I had tried to repair it with a gasket sealer but it didn't hold well enough.

New air box is in and locked down solid.

Drove it to work this morning and it ran fine.

High pressure fuel pump is leaking in the Kia so I ordered one but FedEx is having a hard time getting it to my house. It made it within 30 miles and then took a detour to Nashville for some reason. In the mean time I ordered oil and filter, air filter, cabin air filter, and spark plugs since it’s getting close to 100k. Could use new struts as well but those will probably have to wait until after the holidays. I’ll probably get new shocks for the truck at the same time. The Kia has been a great vehicle and will look to replace it with another one in another couple years.

I replaced the seal I knew was blown out this morning only to find the other side is blown out too. I am just going to have a shop do both of them. I am done with this bs. I need to be working on other maintenance items and upgrades; not these damn seals again.

So I went deeper in the Internet digging and found where some old Toyota mechanics were talking about if the bearing and retainer were possibly installed "wrong". They can be installed correct but still gouge the axle shaft which allows gear oil to bypass the seal and cause a leak. I pulled the shaft today and found exactly what was described; so I followed their directions and applied gear RTV to the place where the axle and spacer meet. Supposedly this fixes the leaking.

Most likely I am going to start watching for two new shafts to get rebuilt properly.

That's Mr Asshole to you
Sold it today. Buyer flew in from Phoenix and is driving it home.
Going to cruise around in my dad's Tacoma for a few weeks while I look for a GX or clean 1st gen Sequoia. More than likely the GX will be what I end up with.

Sequoia will be more unique and have more room in the back.
