I think I finally have my parts list sorted out for my 3" lift build that I will do this winter. I am curious to know what everyone thinks of the part and if there are any parts that I need that I forgot.

Icon 05-Up Tacoma Remote Reservoir Front Coil-over Shock Kit [5-8730]
Icon 05-Up Tacoma Rear Reservoir Shocks [5-7505]
Dever Springs Custom 3" Lift Leaf Pack
Dever Springs U-Bolts
Total Chaos 05+ Toyota Tacoma U.C.A.[96504]
Toytec Front Diff drop kit [TAC-DR-05]
Toytec Zinc Axle Shims (3 Degree) 05 & UP Tacoma [TT-RS-846]

I might eventually add these parts to the suspension:

Total Chaos Stock Uniball Lower Control Arms with Dual Shock Capability [86500]
Total Chaos Dual 2.5â€Â￾ Shock Hoop System [86602]
Icon Secondary Front Shock

Looks like a good setup, however I would get the ext. travel front shocks for the extra inch of travel since you will be getting UCAs you will have the range of motion to actually use the extra travel.
part #8735
Second loose the diff drop they don't do anything useful it only clocks the diff it doesn't actually lower it, you can simply adjust your COs till the fins on the CV boot no longer rub.
Everything else looks good

WTF? I put the diff drop on mine and it didn't hurt anything.

What they are sying is that his coilovers will be adjustable, so instead of the diff drop he can just adjust the coilovers untill his CV joints don't rub. With a non adjustable lift you might or might not need the diff drop.

will get the extended travel instead, was not sure if they would work for my setup. Do i need to extend the brake lines? Icon Recommended tire size for the shocks are 285/75R16, wheel 16X8 with 5" back spacing, but would i have any issues with 285/75/17 tires, i know i would have to trim but I have read that the 285 rub the cab mounts?

My 285's have only rubbed a few times, the cab mount mod is easy to do. I still need to do mine but a few of the guys here have done it. BearsFan07, kidcatcher and txislandboy.

Yes you will need extended brake lines, get some SS brake lines from wheelers well worth the money they cost you will also need extend rear brake lines. You will need to cut the body mount in order to clear at full stuff/full lock.

pretty my trimming the body mount to where its flush with the cab then welding a plate over the hole in the body mount

I used the parts list from a comparable complete kits to guide what i need for my custom kits from seperate parts, couldnt find a kit that would do what i wanted. also will my listed setup support a winch and bumper up front approx 200lbs total for them?

Yeah, you just crank down the coil overs according to how much weight you have up front.
