22re rebuild

Whats the best setup for the 22re as far as cam intake headers ect.. Im looking more for speed than anything

Do it yourself or just send them a check for $8k and figure another grand or two or three to finish off. Then you will have what you are wanting.

Or just do a 4.3 swap... or a 3.4 swap... or a 5.3 swap... you get the pattern.

Or directly to a LSX and and a Quick Change rear end and call it good.

I like to think of my 22RE as the sheer pin... its the weakest link in my drivetrain so hopefully everything else lasts longer.
