Things I picked up these past few days:
- 2.5x16 SAW triple bypass shocks

^ they are with Sonny at Downsouth Motorsports for rebuilding

- 2x used 285/70-17 BFG All Terrains full size spares:

- 2x Pro Comp series 52 17x8 3.75" backspaced steelies to mount them on (no pics yet)

- Just ordered a set of Hannemann fiberglass bedsides, 5" wider than stock, 3" higher

Nice purchases man. How does that Hannemnan glass differ from Glassworks?

^ hannemann claims it is 5" wider than stock, while glassworks is 4.5" wider than stock. I believe hannemann has a 2" rise while glassworks has a 3" rise

anyone know if our factory roof railing can hold a light bar up there? something like this:

I know the factory roof racks are rated to around 160 lbs but what about the weld nuts under the weather stripping themselves? If I secure the roof light rack up there using enough of the weld nuts, will it be able to support the weight of the rack and lights off road?

I drilled straight into the roof for my setup. Its solid. I might be going to a different setup if your interested ;)

nice choice, hannemann glass looks more like the OEM bedsides than any of the other brands IMO.

this is how we are planning to run my light rack. bent and drilled tabs screwed into the mounting points for the factory roof rack under the weather stripping. probably weld the tabs on there just because. smaller lights and 15' of 1" .090 wall isnt going to exceed 160 lbs or tear out of the roof if properly supported.
