2006 Regular Cab 2.7L 4x4
I bought this truck in January of 2009 after an experience in the snow with my Ford Ranger. My intention is to build a truck that is capable of handling very diverse difficult terrains and can drive cross country to find them. Here's what I ended up with.

Last week I changed the gear oil in my transmission and cleaned that shit off so I could see where it was leaking from. The new gear oil is definitely keeping the temp down and it looks like the leak is coming from one of the bottom bolt holes that holds the transfer case to the transmission. Must be a rear seal on the transmission. Luckily I have 2 different gear oils in the Transmission and Transfer Case otherwise I'd have to figure out which is leaking.
