I read an argument that they were more of a real estate investment group than actual retail store. The real estate portfolio should be pretty impressive.

They put a DG in the town I grew up in about 4 years ago... oh wait.. I still don't want to live there. Carry on... conditions still apply. Honestly they probably don't want me to be fare.

A good friend of mine won all the local contracts for dollar general land development. He’s been killing it, even if they shut down he still gets paid, a goddamn genius. I can’t say I’ve ever bought anything other than birthday cards from there
