Ordered some ratshot, a couple of OD Green Gen 3 PMags and a TMag to try out. Threw on the Das Boots on them to get an extra 2 rounds per mag as well.

The TMag's look cool when loaded.

Also ordered a Law Tactical folder Gen S to replace my Gen3M folder. The Gen S is lighter, narrower, and a better latch design than the Gen3M (which I don't really like that much).

I had a conversation with a friend's dad over the weekend. He talked about how devastating and powerful his AR is, and how much damage those rounds will do. He stated that he and a friend shot 4 rounds through a 1/2" steel target. Stated that the target never moved and that the rounds went through it like butter.

I realized that I was either completely ignorant of the power of an AR and various round types, or I was dealing with an idiot. Either way, opening my mouth was not the right action.

So, I'll ask here. Is there a type of round that goes through a standard AR....either 5.56 or .223...that would cut through a 1/2" steel target like butter and not make a sound or move the target in any fashion. I'm pretty sure he just exposed his ignorance, but I'm gonna ask for validation here.

I feel dumber even typing that. The friend was there, and stated that he witnessed the same thing happen. So who's the completely ignorant one, me or them?

This part right here, so much LMAO. I have seen a lot of steel plates shot with armor piercing and regular ammo. (more so in the civi side than military side) I have only seen a few times where a bullet went through any type of steel to the point it never moved. The amount of energy needed to penetrate steel has to go somewhere and it tends to launch the steel plate unless it is bolted down.

Picked up a new pistol for the Road Glide. This is the first Glock that I have bought so we will see if it stays around. I do like how thin the grip is on the 43X.

I need to block @Anathollo but a Ramjet Afterburner has been ordered for the G43x. This setup reduces recoil and allows for easier shooting with faster follow up shots.

Ordered a lightened striker assembly for my G19 Gen 5. Only place I could find it in stock was on Zev's website. They were super slow to ship and really expensive on shipping. Swapped it out last night and the trigger feels lighter & crisper. So time to go run it to make sure it's reliable.
