Ordered some 3/4” HDPE for my skid plate , new steering pulley from PSC, belt and some flexible 2.5” exhaust tube. Also working on installing a detachable steering wheel from Joes racing. That bitch is always in the way. Just need a few more cans of paint. Gonna try to shake it down sometime soon.

Interested in how you are setting up the HDPE for the skid plate. Any backing for it?

It’s going to be 3/4” thick and mounted to the outer edges and x members of the subframe. Fasteners will be countersunk into the HDPE.

Spent the last few nights getting the rig ready for LSLC roundup at K2 next week. fist version of the trans skid had clearance issues that I didnt feel like messing with. It still may work but time is limited. I ended up modifying my old trans skid which miraculously fit after all of the mods below the frame. Only took about 4 hours, some plasma work, a big ass hammer, a few cuts, some spray bomb paint and some cussing. HDPE skid is ready to bolt up after I weld an exhaust hanger for the muffler. I'll post some pics when I'm finished.

Thanks, I pilfered most of the dash from a 3rd gen truck a guy was parting out. I had to put about 4hrs into it to get it in there correctly.

Wiring almost done. And rerouted the intercooler piping to make room for the steering reservoir somewhere. Like they say 10 pounds of shit …
