I had a rental SS that I drove from Denver to Amarillo. Definitely much faster than my 4Runner so that part was fun but the car was garbage and the blind spots were some of the worst I have experienced.

I did manage t race a GT500 to 155 and then get pulled over for such. Best $170 I have spent in a long time.

That and it doesn't allow the oil to sling like its supposed to. There is a reason they are shaped the way they are from the factory. Guy from Banks performance has a whole series on different aftermarket designs etc.

Yea, he made prototypes out of clear plastic for analyses. Pretty cool how he redirected the flow based on the shape for better bearing coverage. think they are marketing better mpg as well

Yeah but it takes a lot of mpg to actually make up for the cost of the diff cover.
