spindle lift

So I am planing on lifting my Prerunner but don't quite understand how the spindles add lift... do they offer addl. Travel? I guess is just need to know how they lift so I can understand what will work best with them, thanks

I am not a rocket scientist although I have a degree as one... ;)

A spindle lift extends and strengthens the spindle leaving the upper control arm in the stock location and lowers the relative position of the lower control arm (resulting in lift). I personally think it's a great way to go on a pre-runner! Best parts are strength of the spindle and letting the UCA stay where it was originally designed to be!! I know many that have hosed a spindle on stock spindles! :(

I don't have a spindle lift so maybe someone with real knowledge can help Mr. Silver!

I'm not a prerunner guy but I couldn't agree more - and I know less! :)

Now if we could get portal axles, central tire inflation, inboard brakes, 4 wheel discs, etc and then us 4wd's could do the same kind of thing!!! :)
