Nothing like coming home yesterday and the AC is not working. Thank God for next day delivery, extra redneck trailer trash house and having the RV for extended comforts.

$30 in Chinese parts are essential for our HVAC systems. If you don't have spares, pop the lid and order these cheap ass parts.

Ended up being a bad contact switch and failing capacitor.

Replaced capacitor, run start capacitor, and contact switch, and most importantly I now have spares on hand. 30min fix.

Picked all the parts and fittings today to redo all this crap. Looks like I will need to build another well house also.

Ok spent most of the day redoing the previous horse shit job/maintenance from previous owners. I need a hose bib pressure guage, I installed a 40-60 switch, because the water has to make it uphill and across a 10 acre pasture.

Looks good, nice call upgrading the pressure switch.

Thanks!

Gonna fine tune it today, increase pressure tank to 38psi, measure hose bib at house/shop before I allow full pressure in house. Adjust pressure switch according. The water pressure before was probably 20psi, it wasn't enough, that's for sure.

Look closely at the previous lines, leaves well head 1in, neck down to 3/4' galvanized to 3/4'brass connector to black poly pipe about 3in long, then to 3/4' pvc. From 3/4' pvc to 1' brass T, leaves brass T on 3/4" pvc and the line that crosses the 10 acre pasture on 1.25in pvc pipe.

Crew of 7 showed up, currently feels like 104* out . They make their own clips for the panels. The clips will be screwed down every 12in. The 24ga galvanized panel/lip will be double crimpd. Class 4 roof, and will meet wind zone 2 requirements, even though were about 15miles north of the W2 requirement.

I like the color combo of that blue with the silver.

Umm.
The house is going to be repainted. We're thinking something very bright, turquoise with a sand color on the trim, under the porch will be painted sky blue.

I'm currently getting bids for an oversized carport 1200 to 1600sq ft in size.

I think it's Sherwin Williams that makes Dober Blue to help keep the mud dobbers from building nests. Buddies ranch has it, and it has helped a ton.

They will finish up tomorrow, the 110* feels like temp has slowed them down a bit.

Got a reminder yesterday that as bad as I want to buy a few acres out of the city, I don’t want to do it anytime soon. Preferably until I have a kid that’s old enough to mow. Had to mow my parents’ place yesterday since my dad’s back is out and he’s pretty much only able to lay in bed until his surgery. Fuck mowing that every week. Spent 3 hours or so on it and that was just mowing. Didn’t even do any weedeating, spraying, limb cleanup, or anything else. That will be done next weekend when I have more time. Spent this morning on my own yard. Took down the temporary fence I had up in the back yard and got everything mowed/edged/weedeated really good before we have company this afternoon. Have a buddy coming this week to give me a quote on removing the two trees from our front yard that are past any point of saving. He’s going ti give my neighbor a quote on cleaning up all the shit along the fence line as well so we can finally have the fence replaced between us. Going to have him quote the fence as well as upping my gate from a 42” to a 60” and compare that to the previous quote I got. Hopefully we can get it done soon.

Yep I'm too the point that I have so much work now that I don't have time to mow my yard anymore since I'm never home anymore. Probably going to get the same guy that does my mom's properties to come mow mine since he does an awesome job.

If I could have found someone to mow my yard for $100/mow I would have went that route twice a month. Every quote I got was closer to $160 so a riding mower was cheaper.
Well if you're overseas anymore than you currently are, you might end up having to find someone.

I can't wait for the automatic mowers hit it off over here. They're everywhere in Europe and I wish they'd get more popular here so the prices on them would go down.
