Thanks man! First batch goes in the dehydrator tomorrow morning. It will be using a recipe that I made up... so we'll see how it goes. I will be trying out these other recipes though.

My FIL doesn't cook, told him I'm eating sandwiches all week, I don't have time to cook, I enjoy my days outdoors... anyways he shows up with all kinds of food, with the cost of food, guess I shouldn't complain too much.

Never smoked beef finger ribs before, what I've read, they can take up to 8 hours at 225* I don't have all my spices/sauces here, so I marinated them in chupacabra, black pepper, cumin, salt and sugar, gonna let sit overnight. I will probably pull the ribs out mid morning, let them come to room temperature then onto the smoker.

Thinking of making a small batch of homemade glaze with some/mixture of items I have here.
a bottle of honey whiskey, sweet baby rays bbq sauce, apple cider vinegar, honey, mustard, butter.

Good call on the glaze. It will help breakdown the meat to be more tender.

I can’t recommend this stuff enough. It’s great on pretty much anything. Personal favorite is foil pack meals. Especially potatoes.

Tried this one from Traeger recipe on the app, came out good. Paired it with some oven roasted potatoes and some sweet white corn for a side.

May be known but I just dreamt it up today and tried it for the first time. If you have people who don't like jalapenos or don't like spicy stuff, make your stuffed jalapeno poppers with pickles instead. Full pickles cut in half length wise. Scoop out some (not all) of the center and fill with cream cheese and shredded cheese mixture along with whatever other filling you like (chicken, dove, sausage, etc) and wrap in bacon and throw on the grill. Turned out absolutely amazing.

Not anything crazy but made a batch of chili, used a mix but added a few extra ingredients to try and make it pop a little more. Some bell peppers, sweet onions, jalapenos, and chili peppers.

Had to have a libation while cooking, if not then what's the point?

I prefer a spicy beer. Stone will occassionally release chili or spice beers that put in some good flavors.

I like to use the pepper beers to make beer bread.

Some of the best chili I have ever made was with Stone's Crime and Punishment series. I have never had such an abusive beer since then. It was like drinking OC spray but it was awesome to cook with.

I just pour in whatever I'm drinking at the time. So pretty much Coors Banquet because I don't think I've drank anything else in about 7 years.
