My dad bought an electric bike off of FB Marketplace to ride back and forth to his stand since driving the Jeep required opening two gates to get to his stand. The e-bike could fit through the "cattle chute" as we called it between the two pastures. He mounted a rifle rack and basket on the front to carry his gun and backpack. And mounted some green LED pods as well. It was a badass little rig. Worked great. I used it instead of the Jeep anytime I was there solo or he wasn't going out hunting. Biggest problem was flat tires with all the mesquite thorns and stuff until he eventually shelled out a few hundred (almost as much as he paid for the bike) for some super-duper-ultra-puncture-proof-runflat type tires. No issues after that.

All the pneumatic tires here have sealant in them here. It's costs about $1k per tractor for the dealer or tire store to install. Otherwise I recommend this tire sealant,
Flat Out Off Road Tire Sealant, Outdoor Power Equipment Formula with Valve Core Tool, Prevents Flat Tires, Fix a Flat Tire, Seals Leaks, Contains Kevlar, 1 Gallon https://a.co/d/iaXpe2U
Seal tread punctures up to ½ inch and virtually eliminate slow leaks for 10 + YEARS.
I recently bought another gallon to do the zero turn tires as well.

The smaller opening between pastures are called gap gates or gap access.

I really wanted to get a quiet electric vehicle for my deer lease but an electric off road bike might be kind of limiting IMO. There are few things as much fun as a dirt bike though.

How quiet they are is what I really like about them.

Those electric dirt bikes are nuts! Tons of power and they're fairly quiet too.

I can't wait for the price of electric sidexsides to come down. Those are gonna be badass for cruising around and sneaking up on feeders. Just charge em up at night and they're good to go for the next day.

Today was a good day for progress on the trailer. The tire chocks were mounted properly and the RTT crossbar was drilled for travel position. I was going back and forth on where I wanted the spare tire to be located with under the front being the final decision. I ordered a retractable cable for it that will be here Sunday. This will keep it safe and out of the sun to help cut down on dry rotting.

The tire chocks are bolted down with the nuts being screwed to the boards. This will allow me to work the bolts without having to go under the trailer. Next up will be properly securing the tool box, clip rails down the sides, and a retainer across the front in front of the tire chocks.

Busy afternoon working on the trailer with little to see for it. I removed the last parts of the first RTT rack that were still welded to the trailer. Then I mounted a 6' L bracket on each side at a bit of a slope so as to allow for water and mud to drain out when washing.

The to-do list is getting shorter now. I am probably going to wait till March or April to order the folding ramp for the last thing. Best part is that it weighs 85 lbs.

Ramp I am ordering - all aluminum and folding, stores either upright, at an angle away from the trailer, or flat on the trailer bed.

I would love to mow my grass my mower is currently trapped in my backyard. Hopefully after this week, the mound of dirt is gone and I can get it out of the backyard. If not, I'll have to go borrow my MIL's mower this weekend and push mow like a peasant.

I put my mowers in 4WD, they seem to be working just fine in the yard. Do you need to borrow one? They need to consume 40lbs of grass a day.

If those mowers come to my house I may end up keeping them warm on my smoker.

The grass fed angus brisket on the hoof can be delivered to ya for $2,000. It will net you almost 600lbs of meat. I can guarantee the quality meat will be far better than any of the briskets or steaks you have ever purchased at a local market or HEB etc (excluding waygu). Your butcher costs will be around $700 to $900, and overall the price per pound will be $4.85 lb, much cheaper than HEB too, just need alot of freezer room.

Trailer is coming along. The center jack that is welded on is getting cut out now that a swing away jack is on it.

Looks good, I'm betting you plan to double nut those bolts and cut off the excess on the new jack mount. Not sure if you fish much, but you can mount a 8ft, 4in pvc under the trailer with a cap to carry a few fishing poles, the reels obviously would need to come off.

The sammich maker and I are discussing buying a side of beef again for the freezer. We won a side two years ago for $20 at a 4H raffle and it spoiled us.

As for those bolts; yeah they are getting doubled up and cut short. I may even put some locktite on them.

The aluminum bi-folding ramp has been delivered and mocked up. I am waiting on the bolts to arrive before drilling holes. I did pick up a tire blow out tread section to put between the ramp and the ground to help prevent the aluminum from getting torn up.

I was able to drill and temp two holes for testing.
