My PC had both front fans failing. Was going to replace them but I didn't like the case anyway so this morning I transplanted everything ino a new case. This case doesn't have the PWM that my last caeh had so all the fans are running max speed and it's super loud (but still better than squeaky bearings and fan blades hitting the housings). So I'll buy some new fans and a separate controller for them so I can tune them better. Next year I'll upgrade mobo, CPU, and GPU with the newest gen.

Replaced all 5 fans (2x140mm front intake fans, 2x140mm top exhaust fans, and 1x120mm rear exhaust fan) with BeQuiet Shadow Wings 2 fans today after work. Spent a bit working on the fan curves and will continue to fine tune as needed. Trying to keep positive pressure in the case at all but extreme situations to help keep dust intrusion down. Now I noticed my GPU is sagging ever so slightly so I'm considering picking up a vertical mount bracket before it becomes an issue down the road.
I'm re-grinding Fallout4 to try a couple alternate endings

Oh faithful. I've done all the main endings, but i like to change up how I play it now.
Currently replaying the Horizon games. I 100% Zero Dawn, now I'm on Forbidden West.
I may try a new game & use the leveling glitch to see what its like being OP from the time I leave Sanctuary

I did a full play through without ever going to Preston's annoying ass
Spent the absolutely beautiful day yesterday stuck on the couch fighting some 24hr bug. So I decided to fire up the xbox and download Halo 3 ODST to play the campaign since I've never played it and it's now available on Halo MCC. I got through about half the missions before having to go pickup my kiddos. I really like the game so far as it's definitely it's own "thing" and the fact that you can't just blaze through enemies since you don't have the energy shield that Master Chief does.
I love the suppressed subgun in this game but the fact that it's more powerful than the assault rifle doesn't make sense. Also there's no ammo anywhere despite the fight taking place on Earth.

Built another PC tonight for a friend. He wanted a simple no nonsense build. It was nostalgic building a PC with zero LED lights. Took me back to when I started building them in high school before putting lights in a PC was even a thought. It's a beast of machine though. So now of the 5 or so PCs I've built in the last 2 years, mine is the worst specced. Guess I'll have to upgrade after our Hawaii trip next spring.
