Diff drop takes minutes... well if anything like the Taco diff drop. Two bolts.. remove, drop down diff, slide in spacer, install longer bolts... done.

You mean they moved their factory from California (a union state) to Texas (a non-union state)? Why ever would they do something like that???

Because Tx kicks Ass my friend.

Wonder if it's all original, if someone has swapped in a newer big block and some modern one tons it would be a killer deal.

It had a 60 under the front, not sure about the rear. It was SUPER clean. Imagine a Cummins in it. OOOOh.

Hence the reason I said modern, IE highsteer for non scary steering, disc brakes, a non tractor engine, and something a little better than an OE NP205.

Been there, done that death wobble sucks. Take a look at the OE steering on a K5 and that is what the chevy had on it right after the swap plus knuckles that hadn't been turned

The fucking steering on my 85 Yota is damn scary as well. Complete crap. I just need to install the hi-steer setup I have.

It amazes me that the shit the factory put on can be replaced by something so simple and "works". Fucking engineers, give them a little room to be creative and they get retarded. I only say this because thats my job. :)
