Doesn't really belong in here, but best place I could think of. If you buy a patio set with a glass table top you should be aware due to outsourcing of the glass to cheap foreign manufacturers that have poor quality glass with nickel sulfide inclusions and poor overall size tolerances you and you children could be at risk Glass patio tables shattering without warning

When I worked in the warehouse early on in my career I would spend what seemed to be all spring drilling 2" holes in the center of patio table tops for these same reasons. Poor quality and overall bad design is to blame IMHO. Never put a umbrella in the middle of glass and expect it to last. It will eventually blow up someday if a high wind catches it. it may get chipped and you never know it then you go to sit down and put something on top of it - then it explodes raining glass down on you and your loved ones. This is why I have a table without glass and most of my coworkers do as well.

That's Mr Asshole to you
My parents had a glass patio table blow up when I was younger. Thankfully no one was outside and it just made a mess.

We have a glass patio table and have had it for many years. It's time for it to go though. I hate that it gets dirty both top and bottom and is a real bitch to keep clean outside.

It's not good for playing cards but my table is made from individual standard size tiles that are held in by gravity. If one breaks or I ever want to change the color just buy some more tiles. Little more cash than a glass top due to the extra framing, but it's a hell of allot stronger.

Nominating Polycom the phone MFG. Desk Phones - VoIP Solutions for Business & Home Office

I asked the salesman in writing before purchase if we could differentiate the ringtone for inside and outside calls. yea no problem.

I asked the installer and he says yea no problem, but he didn;t have the time and it would be easy for me to set up and to just read the set up instructions.

Here we are 6 months later and now everyone is telling me that was bad info.

I reach out to polycom direct with fake info and phone number that leads back to my old job and they terminated the connection.... what a bunch of scum bags.

I was acting like a prospective buyer and the moron running the online support just deferred me to the same manual Ive already read ten times then cut me off. And I was being nice.

Wait until I flame the salesman and demand our money back or they fix it so these POS phones do what we want them to do. Cost as much as a freaking car so they should blow me if I ask them to.

Alcatel is a better phone system but you pay for it.

I told the boss to use or IT firm but I got tasked with it now I'm the falure because it doesn;t do what we need it to do. BWT - this is the third phone system we have had in the three years ive been here lol

This places leaks more money than a lobbyist at a DC fundraiser

My current company uses Mitel and they seem ok, but they are not my favorite design.

I remember thinking the Avaya system at my last company was really good.

We have a receptionist but our ass backwards owner will not allow only her phone to ring so for every 3,000 calls I need to ignore, 1 may be for me. We have all trained ourselves to ignore the phone ringing, so when we place inter-company calls to each other no one ever picks up. Same for transfers from the receptionist. Myself and our other PM don't even give anyone our office number - we don't even have it on our e-mail sigs. Cell phone number only. So you could call me in my office phone 5x in a row and I might pick up. Gotta train your brain around the stupidity so now it's my fault lol

if he would just allow us to shut off and only turn on everyone else's ring after the receptionists phone has rang three times we would be good to go because polycom can do that easily, but he's a twit so Ill waste company money trying to get him unobtainium on his dime.
