So after lunch I stopped by Specs and bought 2 6 packs of the Infamous Hijack. Afterwards we went to some friends house for a BBQ. During conversation the woman who's house we were at mentioned they had recently met up with her childhood friend and her husband and they toured the brewery they owned in town. Turns out it was Infamous Brewery. Pretty cool. Anyhow, she gave me a bottle of beer that the couple who owns the brewery made up for their 10th wedding anniversary. I haven't opened it yet. It also has a photo from their wedding day on the label.

Now that is cool. When I was there the other week we met a couple and his mom at Jester King that were investors with Independence Brewery. Turns out he knows my sister in law and went to Texas Tech with her. Real small world.So after lunch I stopped by Specs and bought 2 6 packs of the Infamous Hijack. Lunch: Gunpowder Residue
I texted a friend that I had an emergency and asked if he would be willing to leave work for a 45 minute meeting. I told him that it was important and I would promise to be focused and to the point but I needed his help. I picked him up from his office, took him to the range and we had fun with the gun he carries all the time, and a few of my handguns. He always would say that, 'We should go to the range.'
He thanked me for making it a priority. I thought I would still like my shield better but that XD is very, very nice. 
Desert: Jet Fuel Residue
To follow-up that lunch, I went back to work where I have been buzzed for more than an hour by jets that are practicing for our town's first air show this weekend. Most of them are probably above 500 ft but one that buzzed my office could not have been more than 100

I grew up 7 miles from an Air Force base (since shut down thats to Mr Klinton) and every year they had a great air show and the Thunderbirds were always great. (Even back when they flew F4's).
