What's for Lunch?

I went to one of the local hole in the wall Mexican food Taquerias for lunch, awesome food, I have been here a few times.

But, obliviously if your from around this small Texas town and know this place/town you don’t wear a MAGA hat into a place like this...

Very interesting lunch atmosphere today.
Let’s just say this older gentleman wearing the hat did not get waited on or acknowledged by any of the staff, he left a bit pissed off, he probably didn’t realize why there was such bad service. One waitress disappeared, one waitress sat down with back to the restaurant and started folding napkins with silverware, another waitress sat down at a table with someone she knew, and the cooks did not come to serving window or call out that an order was ready until after he left and then everybody was busy again.

I don’t mess with anyone, nor do I care too, we live in the area and we mind our business and our boys have several more years of school left here and my Laundry Fairy probably teaches several of their kids.

I know a couple families at church and they have very large farms, in upwards of 10-15K acres. It is very interesting how farmers/family have to make a living these days, if they grow a crop that is very labor intensive which requires seasonal and often most were illegal workers, the farm no longer hires the labor/workers for the crops, instead they sell/bid out the entire crop like watermelon off to other companies and they provide all the labor and distribution(from off the farm to the wholesale) of products. I know H-E-B bought all the number 1 grade watermelons from that company last year. It removes the liability off the Farm, but they are making less money also.

prepping for 8 would take me all day

Nope. Those go into the freezer and last about 2 weeks. It's really not too time consuming when you have several things cooking at 1 time.

I need a good sugar momma/laundry fairy again. I've never enjoyed cooking that much, but wish I did. if I put as much time & effort into cooking as I did other things I doubt I'd be overweight right now
