It was $200 at the time. I'm not paying $280 for the BCG.

Trying out some painting on a new lower build. Matching upper build is next. Most likely this will get setup for hunting coyotes and pigs. Something for high mobility, out to 300 yds effective range, and night vision of some sort.

So one thing I am coming to dislike more and more about digital scopes is crosshair adjustments. The scope is limited to the pixels. It was annoying trying to get that last bit of "perfect" today at the range with the cold front coming in. Even more annoying shooting $20 thermal target paper.

I'm not here to debate about the pistol brace topic. I just want to remind everyone that the Pistol brace 120 day amnesty period has gone into effect today. So be wary if you want to use your pistol braced firearm at a public range or if its your truck gun. However, the ruling has not been accepted into the federal register yet.

If you know people who have pistol braced firearms but don't keep up with firearm/NFA laws, be sure to give them a heads up about this unconstitutional ruling.

The main argument I'm hearing against doing this is, you're sending a picture of what is now a felony weapon to the ATF for them to give you approval to get a free stamp. Remember this is an organization that consistently changes it's mind as to what is and isn't legal.

So if you did mail in a pic, I would just mail in a pic without a pistol brace and an upper on it.

I'd rather pay the $200 to do register it as an SBR on a Form 1, than give the government incriminating evidence of something I possess and use.
