For the TX22's. Just ordered one of these to try out. The guy also makes a mag extension for $55 to add onto a mag you already have.

It was a good day at the range with the Garmin Xero 1 chrono. It was nice to get reliable data for the reloads against the target again. I was a little surprised at some of the results. I was not surprised the Barnes factory was so damn good.

These 123s shot really well. I wish I had tried a little harder instead of rushing to get wrapped up. The horizontal does not surprise me since we had a strong wind right-to-left blowing me around on the gun. The vertical is under 0.4" which makes me want to go back next week to try harder.

Took the FRT out of my TX22 so I can send it back to Taurus to get the slide rethreaded or replaced. Damn red dot screws stripped out and the optic popped off.

Also got the rest of the Tandemkross mag extensions put on my TX22 mags so they all hold way more rounds.

From 1/1/2026 to 11PM on 1/8/2026, ATF has over a million form applications for new stamps! So that's almost the same amount of applications in 8 days as it was for all of 2025!

Common use! Common use! Common use!

It's almost like the $200 tax was keeping citizens from exercising their 2nd amendment rights?

It was keeping me from filing for sure. I started to purchasea suppressor and SBR my AR multiple times and the stamps were always the deciding factor. Just couldn't get past the idea of pissing away $400 for nothing. I'll be picking up at least one suppressor in March, possibly two.

The $200 wouldn't have stopped me but damn NJ state laws still in place here. Sitting somewhere at the district court level I believe GOA has sued NJ for SBR and suppressor bans. We can have AOWs but I don't need my name on any NJ list for them

Finally ordered a PRP trigger drop-in kit for my Springfield XD Mod.2 subcompact daily carry pistol. Hopefully I can get it installed and tested out pretty quick.

Installed the kit this afternoon. It was not difficult once I started using a pair of locking forceps to install the small pieces. The trigger is cleaner and has very little over travel. I handed it to the Sammich Maker to try out and she agreed it is a much better trigger. I need to order the same kit for her pistol next and a trigger for the Echelon.

9mm. Sammich Maker and I both have XD Compacts for concealed carry in 9mm. The magazines are interchangable so it makes it easy to stock a spare magazine in both vehicles. I am debating changing to an Echelon 4.0 for a CCW later this year.
