Ordered this today to knock the dimples off my sxp for an extended magazine. Half the price of Brownells so hopefully it works since it’s something I’ll probably only use once or twice.
This magazine tube dent removal tool is designed specifically for the 12-gauge Remington 870 and other 12 gauge models with similar spring retainer dents around the opening of the tube (such as the TAC-14). Our 2-piece system is superior to other 1-piece swage designs on the market as the...

On my Versamax, I just drilled it out and used a little sander on a dremel to smooth it out on the inside of the tube.
But yeah, speaking of shotguns, I took my stepdad's Remington 1100 (I guess it's mine now) fully apart and am deep cleaning it. I also ordered a spring kit to replace all of the internal springs, a Timney trigger, new gas system O-ring, mag spring & aluminum follower, limbsaver butt pad and a new Volquartzen extractor.
I'm only doing the trigger job right now since I have to take apart the trigger pack to replace the internal springs.
I don't think my stepdad ever replaced anything on this shotgun and it was used for every duck hunting season from the late 70's to 2015. I can't believe this shotgun still functioned as the O-ring is hard as a rock, the action spring has no rebound (I had to pry it out of the buttstock) and the mag spring doesn't try to fly out when you take off the magazine cap. The Goodyear rubber butt pad has completely hardened into a rock and I'm worried it's going to break in half.
I'll be saving all of the old parts to make sure that this shotgun can be returned to it's original state if need be. But by no means is this a collectors item as it was used a work horse. It's sentimental to me because I killed my first mallard with it, won a skeet competition with it and it was my stepdad's. So I'm going to keep using it like he would want me too.
