About time for some good news. 11 years late, but progress is progress.

I do not know of many 100% disabled / non -employable vets that went to college though.

Said 25,000 people out of 50k that were eligible actually received the help and to me that's 25k too many left behind.

Real rough math ~ Only 500 per state so running into them in your daily life would be akin to finding a unicorn.

I would agree with this measure a whole lot more than E-lie Warren’s proposal to wipe everyone’s student debt.

Although my sister is married to a unicorn I guess.

He got rated 100% unemployable disabled / service connected his last semester of college. The the college "gifted" him his debt so the IRS is taxing him on the gift amount. The whole thing has been a real cluster. Considering Texas and California have the highest concentration of veterans and the majority of groups I spend any time in are vet related I would have expected to hear about more than one is all I am saying. I know more than ten guys that are 100% service related off the top of my head.

(I tell him he only got the 100% because he is fugly as a dog ass)

Heck yea! Ive got zero issues giving veterans what they were promised years ago and would have zero issues for new hires getting a free state or community educations or subsidies on university educations. I'd actually feel better when I pay my taxes knowing some of it will be put to good use. Problem is all the gubment vampires who steal that cash before it goes to who it should and I suspect that's why they slow played the 25k who didn't get the pay out.

Gotta love when they tax the gifts as actual income. That always makes my head spin

Defense Department Officials: All CBD Products Forbidden to Troops

Vs.

Meanwhile at the VA, they are waiting on guidelines & procedures for prescribing medical marijuana and CBD products.

Until the Fed legalizes it - anyone who partakes via licenses or prescriptions is putting their future on the line IMHO, but I'm also paranoid and cynical by nature

Id just recommend they stick with the black market until then if they need it.

This is for COL B, a good friend of mine who was ‘asked’ to stay another year tour in shit hole Iraq. He is going to roll his R&R days at the end along with 60+ days of leave, along with his retirement packet. 9 more months, hang in there brother.

Nice. Not even going to ask what secret squirrel stuff he is mixed up in.

After a couple years being in the box, Col B should be coming to San Ant pretty soon, it will be quite interesting to know what he has been doing over there that long, not to mention why they wanted him to stay an additional 9 months on top of the 2 years already. This dude might not be same person as he was before he left, I'll find out soon when I meet up with again here in the next week or two.

Finally sent my brother a link to these sites after saying I would for years lol

That's for the insight. Hopefully it helps him and his wife make ends meet if he isn't using it already.

I’m sure there is a couple Veterans on here, who have not taken advantage of enrolling and/or the Exchange sales.

Welp, I just told my brother how much you are paying for mobil-1 w./all the rebates and he said he will look into it for sure so hopefully that's one more Marine in the mix.

Be careful.. that type of Mobil 1 large bottle was the exact kind that failed on me... pouring all 5 quarts on the ground. No reason other than it was older. Nothing hit it.

I make sure the jugs are not damage when I purchase them, for the exception when I had 5 shipped to me, I never had a problem with ever, knock on wood.
