I have the State one already; but my VA ID with "Service Connected" got me into Death Valley for free.

cool.

ok, that’s what I thought, the other one proposed is for all National Parks/Forest etc, a lifetime card to SC’d Veterans.

It is not a war crime the first time.

Nothing wrong with that either.

Yeah; it seems the VA is starting to dig into some of their previous generous ratings where people got rounded up way easy. I would be surprised to see anyone who did get a rating get it completely revoked; but I bet those easy 100% guys are about to spend some time getting their ass dug into.

The Organization
Our Mission
The USO strengthens America’s military service members by keeping them connected to family, home and country, throughout their service to the nation.
Since 1941, the USO has been the nation’s leading organization to serve the men and women in the U.S. military, and their families, throughout their time in uniform. From the moment they join, through their assignments and deployments, and as they transition back to their communities, the USO is always by their side.

Today’s USO continuously adapts to the needs of our men and women in uniform and their families, so they can focus on their very important mission. We operate USO centers at or near military installations across the United States and throughout the world, including in combat zones, and even un-staffed USO service sites in places too dangerous for anyone but combat troops to occupy.

USO airport centers throughout the country offer around-the clock hospitality for traveling service members and their families. Our trademark USO tours bring America and its celebrities to service members who are assigned far from home, to entertain them and convey the support of the nation. And our many specialized programs offer a continuum of support to service members throughout their journey of service, from the first time they don the uniform until the last time they take it off.

The USO is not part of the federal government. A congressionally chartered, private organization, the USO relies on the generosity of individuals, organizations and corporations to support its activities, and is powered by a family of volunteers to accomplish our mission of connection.

History
Just prior to the onset of America’s involvement in World War II, President Franklin D. Roosevelt sought to unite several service associations into one organization to lift the morale of our military and nourish support on the home front. Those entities – the Salvation Army, Young Men’s Christian Association, Young Women’s Christian Association, National Catholic Community Services, National Travelers Aid Association and the National Jewish Welfare Board - became the United Service Organizations or, the USO.

Today, the USO has continued to support our nation’s military and their families for over seven decades as they defend our country and its freedoms. By providing support to our servicemen and women as they perform their most challenging duties around the world, our credo is to be always by their side.

The reach of the USO’s more than 250 centers extends to countries on every continent, operated by thousands of staff and volunteers whose goals are to match our service members’ vigilance and provide best-in-class service to those who sacrifice so much for America.

Sad to see how quickly 9/11 has been removed from society's memory.

Just the majority - we will continue to maintain a strong minority of patriots. So long as the sheep dogs remember, I'm happy.

I stopped caring about what the sheep think this year pretty much. Too draining on me when living in a blue state and being surrounded 24/7/365 for almost 15,000 days and nights lol

I did find it ironic to see some of my conservative friends fighting with my libertarian friends lately. Seems everyone's at each other throats and that sucks.

More than the country has lost Patriotism it seems.

Patriotism does not feel like it exists as a common ground with the Dems & Pubs anymore. /sad.

Darryl probably spent more than half a day with us, at the Doha Airfield, he is one entertainer that truly cares about the military folks and Merica.

Dozens of Retired Generals, Admirals Sign Letter Backing Trump for Reelection

Some 235 retired senior military officers have signed a letter backing the reelection of President Donald Trump and warning that electing former Vice President Joe Biden would lead to growing influence in government by "socialists and Marxists."

A letter released Monday by the Trump-Pence campaign was signed by eight four-star generals or admirals, 42 three-star generals or admirals and at least one Medal of Honor recipient: retired Marine Maj. Gen. Jim Livingston.
