Straighten it out with the bfh
Fuck the hammer. Bend it back into shape with your hands. Thats what I did with mine and then I tore it off by hand.

Mine was far beyond fixing with your hands it was pretty much waded into a ball

Been having some issues with noises I have been hearing from the rear end of my truck. I thought it was my drums, turns out I might have a bad pinion bearing or carrier bearing in my rear 3rd member. Looks like that will be the next part to replace on the list. I haven't ever worked on a Rear 3rd member but any insight would be appreciated. I wont be doing this by myself, probably going to place and order too ECGS and get new gears
