The bathroom at my community pool is closed for investigation. Someone allegedly had an accidental discharge of a firearm injuring only themselves. No additional news beyond the person has been identified.

Per the email that went out to the neighborhood a firearm was accidentally discharged in the men's room. The suspect left prior to the arrival of the Sheriff's officer. Surveillance cameras were used to identify the suspect and he has been interviewed (and I think charged) by the Sheriff's office. No one was injured except the individual.

I have not seen the neighborhood gossip walking around, but I intend to ask him about it the next time I see him.

I'm more curious about the details around it. Was it an idiot who was playing with it in the bathroom, or did it fall out of a holster and discharge when it hit the ground?
