Yep. I used the stock intake. We had to notch a bit of metal above the stock hole, but it works well.

Contrary to those who scoff at a clean truck, I don't mind tire shine. I just never have used it on the GYs. Originally, it was b/c I was trying to use that tire black shit to cover up the white letters...

2nd Snorkel Group Buy: 1st Gen, 2nd Gen (5/16/11 - 5/23/11)
Thanks again to Kurt at http://www.cruiseroutfitters.com/index.html we will be doing another snorkel GB. This GB starts tonight and runs until next Monday night.
1st and 2nd gen snorkels will receive $30 off his listed price of $355. For you slow people that means you'll pay $325 + shipping. Tax will be applicable if you live in Utah.
The GB has no minimum quantity needed to get the discount.
All you have to do is call Kurt and say you are from TW to get the discount (you guys can lie). Kurt's number is: 801-518-3937. In an attempt to make this as easy as possible for Kurt (so he is willing to do more GB's) please DO NOT flood him with calls and questions regarding the snorkels. Many people on here have them and will be more then willing to help with any questions you might have. Call him only when you are ready to place your order.

Note: These snorkels are made in Australia and imported. These are not the kind of item that is stocked in mass quantities in the US. Last time we had a GB we drained the entire continent of snorkels and it took a couple months to complete the orders to all GB participants.
Kurt's current stock and updated ETA on re-stock:
"SS135MOD (2nd gen) - As of today I have 1 in stock, 5 due late next week and another 4 due on or about 5/27/11. They don't have ETA's for any more beyond that in the US.
SS170HF (1st gen) - As of today I have 1 in stock and 12 due on or about
6/10/11
So we can start shipping a SS135MOD's as soon as tomorrow but SS170's are going to be mid June before people start seeing them."
I can not stress how important it is that people do not call Kurt to check on delivery lead times.
He is doing us a favor and does not need added work or for this GB to take time away from his other business.
All GB participants will get an e-mail from Kurt containing an invoice and tracking number once their order has shipped.
All lead time updates will be provided to me and I will post them ASAP.
