Shit, our Kia has been more reliable than most other vehicles we’ve owned. All I had to do was replace a high pressure fuel pump at 94k. Actually just traded it in for a newer 2021 model this morning.Kia can't build a dependable engine
While I think the Kia Soul is absolutely horrible looking they do seem to hold together pretty well. My mom drove one for years and sold it to a coworker at 140k miles. I still see it around town with however many miles it has on it now. I am not going to buy a Kia but they are not any worse than a Hyundai or such.

Yeah the souls are ugly as sin but my MIL has been trying to kill hers for years and can’t. Kia and Hyundai are like Chevy/GMC. Same platforms, drivetrains, etc for the most part. But the Kia build quality is nothing like it was 20 years ago. They’re definitely worth a look
If I needed a cheap commuter that nobody was going to steal I would look at Kia. Thankfully I work from home though so my commuter can be a motorcycle or Porsche whenever I decide on it.

I saw a 4th gen Tacoma in the wild this past weekend. Took me a minute to realize the mini tundra was actually a tacoma. The body lines looked busy for how small it is. I'm sure it will grow on me, but I'm not running out to buy one.
Especially this one.

My wife had a Kia Sorrento when we got married. I actually liked that vehicle. Half the parts under the hood had the Hyundai logo. They are the same company.

I got the notification from work today that this week is my five year anniversary with the company. It is crazy how fast it happened and how much has changed in that time. If you told me five years ago I would have favorite places to eat in Paris and LA I would have laughed at you.
