Buddy of mine found an old Triumph Zippo in a car at the scrap yard today and gave it to me. Cleaned up pretty good and it works still, just needed topping off.

I have a game camera that I have setup on a 12"x12"x2" board that I move around my lot occasionally to watch for animals - both two and four legged. The rain yesterday floated the setup maybe 12 feet away from where it was placed. This spot is not where the water pools up; this was on a slope that water drains off of pretty quick. It is impressive to see enough water on the ground that rain drops were splashing.

I picked a great day to take off at the last minute. At 3p yesterday I put in for today off and then CrowdStrike crashed the world!

Well I am getting the 4Runner ready for some wheeling tomorrow. This is the first time I have been back to Bridgeport OHV in years. I am taking a buddy with his new Tacoma to get him introduced to the process and @italynstylion to break in his Rivian in the dirt.

I have been told to piss off by a few people at work. Apparently they did not like my "BCP Test Day" messages. LOL

Rivian R1T made it out to Bridgeport and did pretty good. We did notice a few odd things -
1) when in "offroad mode" the speed is locked to 20 mph or less
2) if the driver seatbelt is not clicked then it will not go back to Park until it is clicked
3) the traction control is pretty good on all the surfaces we found

Overall it was an interesting day with the Rivian.

All the new “safety” features of newer vehicles makes me want to own an old Toyota. Is that 20 mph gps 20 mph or tire speed 20mph because you all know. Sometimes you got to hit with a little speed. I’d be researching how to turn that shit off.

In doing some research the 20 mph limit is only applied when "off road + highest ride height" together. If the vehicle is dropped to "off road + high ride height" it does not restrict to 20 mph. I am assuming that is vehicle/ gps speed.

My wife's XC90 is like that. You can't go over 30 or 36mph while in "Off-road" mode where her air suspension is at its highest setting.

@Taco Loco do your rain dance more often and like you mean it! We have 2-6 inches of rain coming to Suckston before Thursday that I'm more than willing to send your way.

I've only put the wifes XC90 in off-road mode once or twice just to make sure it worked. I should go test that out.
