I bought a sun filter a couple months ago for that big telescope the boys have. Clouds gotta break up down here, or it's not going to be very good viewing.
They're saying it's going to be cloudy and rainy for Houston today during the eclipse.

Yeah, if it happens, it happens. I'm not all hyped up like everyone else. Folks are flying in from all over, rental cars from SA to Austin are going for $1k day,
talk about price gouging.

SA was having blood drives all last week, officials are expecting more auto crashes etc and some highways could see 30 to 40 miles of gridlock, no thank you.

I have a friend who used to live here 15 years ago come back for it. He is driving out to Llano to watch it. Sucks for them its gonna be cloudy, but oh well.

Eclipse was eclipse. It did get dark enough the birds were making noise and the solar lights came on. Picture doesn’t do it justice.

It got pretty dark at my house. We had scattered clouds that were pretty thin.
