The wedding is actually more inland so I think we are going to be on the edge of the redwood area. I am just hoping there are a few breaks in the schedule so I can try to relax a little.

What are the fucking odds? My wife started a new job last week so she’s been doing a different commute than she has for the last nearly 12 years. Last week on her second day she got two blocks from work and a guy changed lanes into her hitting her rear bumper and driver side rear wheel/tire. Minimal damage but will need some paint work and a new wheel at minimum. Then this morning another guy hit the front of her car. Will probably need a new front bumper. Neither accident was her fault but holy shit. So now I get to deal with our insurance for the first one and the other guys insurance for the one this morning. They say bad things come in threes… I hope the third one happens fast so we can get past this shit. Just glad she isn’t hurt and her car is still drivable in the meantime.

I was supposed to be in Tampa right now. Woke up Saturday at 4:30am to leave, and found out my flight and rental car were canceled. Now just trying to get my American flight from Tampa to DFW refunded since I never made it there. My wife's aunt in Tampa said they got 10 inches of rain and 80mph winds.

The guy that hit her last week admitted fault and then tried to file on our insurance. Because he doesn’t have insurance of course. Insurance is going to tell him to pound sand and then go after him to get us our uninsured motorist deductible back. He also told her at the scene “I’m so sorry, that’s completely my fault. I don’t have insurance so you can just pay me for the damages”. She just stared at him like he was an idiot.

My kid starts high school next week as a freshman. She made the JV volleyball team (5A school) and her first scrimmage against another school is today in a few hours. Pretty stoked to go watch her play.
My youngest boy starts college this year, so both boys leave the nest next week for college. Guess I'm about to find out how well The Laundry Fairy will hold up. Well atleast she will have less Laundry to do,
You better start behaving because now you will be the primary focus of attention until she gets a pet.
