I was thinking of making an ac tool room within my shop, don't think it's cost feasible to cool the whole building with the heat we have down here.

Unless you get some solar panels I'd think not. My buddy has a shop with two Mr. Cool units and his whole shop stays 70 degrees all summer and he doesn't get a monthly bill! I am going to do my whole shop but have no intentions to make it "cold", just to knock the humidity down and probably keep it set at 80ish degrees just to keep it bearable in the middle of the summer here.

AC is running again. I am not sure how much I plan to invest in this system since we are house shopping when the sammich maker finishes college next May.

Hopefully the interest rate continues to drop too.

The good news is that it slept all during the night and didn't disturb us either. Our other dogs didn't seem to have any intrest in the puppy either. So far the new puppy has found its new home without any problems, of course The Laundry Fairy hasn't noticed her new puppy either. Follow me for more pet ideas.

If you replace the capacitor, I would replace that switch too. If the 220 feeding the contact switch does not have terminals on the wire, be sure to get a contact switch with the one lug/one opening, it makes it very easy to feed the wire directly into this style.

yep mine took a dump about 2 years ago and I bought 2 condenser caps, two blower motor caps, and 2 contactors for the compressor. I replaced all of them and now have a spare for each in case one shits the bed again I won't have to wait around for a spare, they are easy enough to replace.

I'd recommend adding a hard start kit, it will prolong the life of the starting cap and also draw less current, this lowered the starting amps enough to allow my HF 9500W generator to run the A/C if ever needed.

Yep I guess the storms and heat are killing components. Had to replace my contactor recently as well. Ordered a Micro Air Flex soft start to prepare for my upcoming generator backfeed install.

Keep playing games and she is going to bring a dog home. lol

This week is dragging super slow.

I keep telling our 2 dogs to watch their backs, cause The Laundry Fairy is looking at replacements.

My daughter has a new found desire to have a cat. I said she can have one if she gets rid of her dog. For the record he is a little shitbag. lol. If we got a cat I’m pretty certain my wife’s dog Rosco would kill it. We would have to put the cat in protective custody. lol. Oh and she will not get rid of her dog, she loves that little shit.

I always thought cats were great for wheel chocks, and I'mallergic to them, never in my life thought I would own a cat or 3 of them lol. Well I now know how beneficial they have been keeping rodents in check at the farm. I still can't believe the rats they kill, half their size and the teeth on those rats are just incredible.
I have one that regularly hangs out in the tractor shed, and she is a hunter. I would never have an indoor cat, that's for sure.

Real barn cats are a great asset to have around the feed room. Beyond that they are questionable with no loyalty or concern for the people that take care of them.
I have one and it remains outside. If I start seeing mice/rats (or if he gets on my motorcycle again) he's going to "wonder off". I fucking hate cats lol

It all started a few months ago when we visited a friend of ours. He has two indoor cats (fucking worthless POS) and one shop cat, coolest fucking thing... acted like a friendly dog. Kills all kinds of shit. Lives in the shop, never goes indoors. But a cat like that is rare, 99% of indoor cats are worthless. She now likes cats... or at least one.

Mine has chilled out since my gf had his nutts removed, so no more spraying foul smelling piss around my shed. His ass still likes to climb up on my bike if I leave it out, so he and she have both been warned lol

That's Mr Asshole to you
Ugh, cats. My wife has 2, and my stepdaughter might bring her cat over from her dad's. Long story and I don't want it, but it symbolizes more being at my house than the anguish it will cause.

Good Morning Y'all!
It's been a busy week, moving boys off to college, and visiting breweries.
First morning waking up to an empty nest.
Gonna get some soaker hoses going on a timer on the pasture closest to the house, to attract more doves. Dove season is approaching fast.
