Great feeling waking up in the right bed for and knowing I am home long enough to get caught up on the issues and projects.

Don't forget about using your own crapper too!

My friend had a party at his family ranch this weekend and said everyone was welcome to camp out. I had planned on taking the Tacoma and RTT, but wasn’t too jazzed about sleeping in 80° temps. Decided to rent a camper to have air conditioning. Ended up getting a flat tire at 11pm about 5 miles north of Hico, swapped on the spare in the ditch off the side of the highway. Camped the night at my deer lease, then got a flat tire leaving the property. Of course I had no more spare tires so had to drop the camper on the county road and go to Stephenville for 2 new tires. What a mess. Oh, and the water pump in the camper didn’t work right so we could only have water pressure when hooked up to a hose.

Pick up one of those personal or small indoor AC's for the RTT, sub $100

We headed out on Friday and spent the wknd in the hill country at Charis Canyon. All the wedding guests were welcomed to stay all wknd and cabins and duplexes were provided with the invitation. We did get some hiking, slight climbing in as well. We ended up in a duplex for the 2 nights, very nice & roomy.

The tether lines in one section were tied to a dead oak, lol, oh the risks and views was worth it, lol. The weather could have been a bit better.

That would be a good idea but then I’d need to haul around a generator too? I usually just don’t camp out when it’s too hot

You hauled the camper...

Sounds like you had the standard RV owner experience! At least you don't own this one!
