We got absolutely dumped on this week in Suckston. Been draining the water in my backyard for the past two hours. Burned through 5 M12 5or6A batteries at this point. This M12 does 9GPM so that's a fuckton of water moved out of the yard (this is where the pool used to be, we'll regrade it and pour a deck extension foundation eventually).

No spare water hose to just run a simple siphon?

I had wild ducks hanging out in the bayside pond. Spent a few hours draining the bayside and the street side of my yard to get the water out.

Bought a new TV for the living room this weekend, hooked everything up and it was fine. Didn't have the right size screws for the wall mount so the next day I went and got some, unplugged everything, and hung it on the wall. Now the TV can't see my Fire TV Cube. Sees every other device but not the cube. Cube works on every other TV in the house. I ordered a new one that will be here today. Guess if it doesn't work I'll go to Best Buy and see about a replacement for the TV. Maybe I should have listened to the guy at Best Buy trying to convince me to buy a Samsung. But all my Samsungs have been absolute shit so I went with LG again. They've always been great for me up until now.

I've literally had the opposite experience from you. We install at least 2-3 TV's a week here at work and we have a ton of issues with LG's being broken in the box (I always order Samsungs but customers can also order what they want and we'll install it). The cafeteria at work has LG TV's all around the seating areas and the cafeteria manager didn't listen to me at the time & bought LG's so now they all have screen burn and look like shit lol

But I stopped buying Amazon Fire products. They all aged out and started giving us issues (same thing happened to my electrical manager and my buddy with their Fire sticks/box). The new Google TV streamer that just came out is freaking sweet. Really fast and I love the UI interface.

I actually just saw the Google one today at work while I was looking around. First one I've seen other than Fire TV that has all the apps we use. I picked one up after work so I'll see if I have better luck getting it to work and I'll return the Fire Cube I ordered from Amazon.

Hopefully it works out for you

Other than some pirate stuff, what can you get on FireTV devices that you can't get on a typical smart TV nowadays?

With the summer heat coming in I finally got around to cleaning my AC condenser coil, it was absolutely filthy. First time I've cleaned it since I've moved in (and who knows if PO cleaned them or not), if not it's an 18 year old system so it was overdue. Also vacuumed out the old leaves in the bottom of the housing. Going to pull the evaporator this weekend and clean that and change the filter as well. And now looking at these pictures, my house is due for a power wash lol

Took advantage of some cooler weather we had yesterday and got to work building up my shooting backstop. My dad came over for a few hours to help. Got all the posts set and two layers of ties lagged and rebarred together. Used 4x6x12 and some 3/8"x8" galvanized anchor bolts. Probably overkill but I only want to build it once and not have to mess with it leaning or falling over. I plan to do 10 ties high (70"), but I'll leave the 4x6s long in case I want to build it higher. My neighbor two doors down has some left over fill dirt he needs to get rid of anyhow so he said I can have it for free, a short drive over with the kubota and I'll be set! Hoping to get the rest of the ties set this weekend if it's not too hot and it isn't raining.

I’m sure you seen the backstop demo ranch built. I expect nothing less. LOL. But serious that looks like a great start.
