+1 for electronic door locks. I wish I had installed one years ago when @SecretSquirrel first introduced me to them at his house. I have not carried a house key in a while now.

Had to search for this advice since my new place needs some help in this department. I remember something being posted about it and here it is. Amazon has the backing for a much better price than HD.Clean out the joint as best you can, then stuff a backer rod in so it'll save a ton of caulk: Sika 3/4 in. x 20 ft. Closed Cell Backer Rod, Expansion Joint Polyethylene Foam 108130 - The Home Depot
Then use this Sika self leveling caulk: Sika 10.1 fl. oz. Sikaflex Self-Leveling Horizontal Joint Elastic Polyurethane Sealant in Gray 7116070 - The Home Depot
There is no shortcut for this fix unfortunately. This is the longest lasting method but you'll have to redo in ~10 years again or sooner in high traffic areas.
We have decided to complely tear out one section of our driveway and redo it with a front patio and adding drainage(the drainage is the most important part). We talk to the accountants in October so we'll see if we have the money to do it this year.Had to search for this advice since my new place needs some help in this department. Aww that sucks to hear. That was a beautiful tree.I lost the big oak tree in the middle of my yard a few years ago. I'll take the dead leaves etc over not having it.
