TKGN1's build

Another stage of build is coming up on the Tacoma. Ordered OME front springs along with OME Dakars for the rear, those will be going on in a week or two.
Started building bumpers two weeks ago, the front is almost complete, still have to get my tubing bent for the grill gaurd but the lower half is complete minus paint.
I plan on starting the rear bumper this weekend. Here are some pics of the front so far:

Do you really need the truck's bed space? If not I would highly recommend bobbing the bed 12" as well as cutting it for high clearance.

LOL, thanks Sam. Yea it was on there, I used it moving a few trees and while we where weeling!

Bumper looks great. I like the front receiver because you have the option to mount whatever you need. Winch, Tow Hook, Recovery Shackle, Fishing Rod Holder...

Thanks Drew. It was kind of accidental on the reciever, I forgot to have a mount for the license plate and thought that the reciever in the front would be a good place to put it, the plate is mounted to an aluminum sq tube and held in place there. Worked out perfect for a number of things, the rear will have one almost identical.

Thanks Sam! After wheeling with those Jeeps this past weekend I believe I have found my limitations for the time being. It was definately a wake up call, of course those guys where trail guides at BVORR.
