Might have to get one of them mini tool boxes for my deskI was watching this video about HF's new lineup for 2025 and these power stations look nice. Curious as to the final price points of each.

Take it easy on the hammers, ya big ape!Welp. The last one lasted about 2 swings. At least they are gone now. Might go look at the Icon deadblows.

We're going to be redoing our laundry room as soon as we get through this plumbing clusterfuck. Not looking forward to the tile. I hate doing tile. But it's such a small space, I'm not paying anyone to do it. We're going to end up stripping the whole room down to studs though. Going back with a lot of builtins. So lots of new tools are in my near future.I have a bunch of Estwing hammers, its just those red coated ones that seem to be the issue. FWIW I have a similar red coated Gearwrench and its fine. But I went and picked up an Icon 24oz ball peen deadblow and I'll see how I like it. So far its nice. Will most likely get the others. I was/still am remodeling Kennas bathroom and I pulled all the baseboards up (they are made of some "sustainable material".. AKA cardboard.. just shit) so I pull them all up and replaced with that plastic stuff and I really like it so far. Cutting was easy, install was easy. I still need to caulk the joints and touch up paint them but that all is about done. Vanity and all the shower fixtures go in tomorrow if I can get it done before the in-laws show up. I also picked up a HF Bauer brand brad nailer (got the nailer, 5AH battery and charger for $80.. normally the nailer alone is $99) and for as little as I will use it I can live with it. So far its working awesome. No complaints.
Man I try to only buy hammers with a wooden handle now. The wood is replaceable and I feel like the wood absorbs more of the energy than the plastic or dipped handles.Welp. The last one lasted about 2 swings. At least they are gone now. Might go look at the Icon deadblows.

Man, look at LVP flooring. It's super durable, easier to install then tile and affordable. I did my whole upstairs in it and it's held up awesome to a 175# dog and two girls. We're going to be redoing our laundry room as soon as we get through this plumbing clusterfuck. I've done LVP before. We will end up doing it when we replace the carpet in the rest of the house. But my wife is set on brick floors in the laundry room. And since a real brick floor isn't possible, brick look tile will be the way we go. It's only 7.5'x8.5' so it won't be terrible. And I have an actual tile guy to fall back on if something pops up I need a hand with for whatever reason.Man, look at LVP flooring. It's super durable, easier to install then tile and affordable.
