You know, I had to think but last time I used the m12 3/8 was to replace the lug nuts on the kids Rubi with McGuard spline drive lugnuts and it did fine. But that was maybe 80-100 ft/lbs of effort. Meh.

Well I gave her all the way on a lower shock bolt and now I have to slap the back of the cap to get it to work again AND it's starting to smell like burning chinesium as well lol
I have not had any issues with the M12 1/2" impact. The M12 3/8s impact is not the same animal.

Which is weird bc it's just a different sized anvil. The rest of the tool should be the between the 3/8" & 1/2".

I got the 3/8" because those thinner wall sockets tend to fit into more areas on the Tacoma and Volvos.

And I'll say it again, you need a pair of these knipex wire strippers. I have every other kind of wire strippers and I never use them anymore. The ability to dial in a set length of wire you want to strip everytime is a game changer.

I bought those things many moons ago. I like them.

Got a 2.5A high output M12 battery off Scamazon to try out.

Got in a new garage door opener belt for my Ryobi garage door opener along with a 4A lithium battery for the garage door opener "battery backup". Man, Cryobi batteries are cheap.

Biggest reason I didn't move off of them....

I don't pretend to need anything more. I still have air for heavy loads and the Ryobi is good enough for screws, bolts, cutting, etc

Thing is those batteries are really no different internally than the red or yellow ones, but those cocksuckers charge and arm and a leg for them.

Because they know their customers are assholes who will try to warranty everything they can. They build the price knowing the primary buyer is commericial and going to pay it.

An M12 nibbler is coming to market and supposedly cuts without lipping the sides of the sheet metal like other nibblers.

Added a new grinder attachment to the mix. I wanted the Milwaukee version but could not justify the price. Even buying a new grinder and a shitload of belts it was well under $100. Comes with different end pieces to allow it to get into various places.

Picked up the Sonos Play. It sounds really good for the form factor.

Review of the three portable speakers:
Move 2- sounds fantastic. Really high quality speaker but it's too big to pack away for trips and quite heavy.
Play- great form factor and sound.
Roam- smallest form factor but you have to CRANK it up loud to hear it. Doesn't pack a punch at all for its size.

If I only had one out of the three, it would be the Play.
