So the Gen 3 M12 3/8" impact wrench (the 550 ft.pd.) one didn't survive the CV axle installs on my buddies suburban. Just submitted a warranty claim with Milwaukee to send it in for repair.

I feel like I've abused my Gen 2 M12 3/8" impact far worse for years now and it's held up.

It's probably using the same motor as the 3/8" version. But I tend to use more 3/8" sockets as that covers 99% of what I'm working on for the Tacoma.

Mine is the 3/8'ths, previously I said it was 1/2 . I was wrong, meant to say it was a 3/8. I have a 2 of ther 1/2" big dogs, like 1300 ft/lbs of reverse. I am sure they sell a more powerful version. I don't use it enough to break it though. Sadly I don't use most anything to break it these days. <kicks can, hangs head down low and walks away>
