So I know I can find it my searching google BUT you guys are bored. Will those fridges essentially run 24/7 for a few days without killing a battery?
It's all about delta T. I typically get a day out of it and start the engine for 10 minutes.

When I didn't have a solar panel and a separate battery it would run for 2-3 days no problem as long as you didn't have a teenager reaching in for sodas every hour. In that instance it lasts a day.

Bingo. I have an 85 watt panel up top and as long as the weather is good. It's all good.

But if you don't have a panel up top and just use a battery I would suggest a second battery so you are not left for dead. Even then if you are driving all day then you will be fine. A standard battery will last all night

What 'temp' do you keep yours at? I keep the bottom frozen for my long term stuff. Also I am certain that my batt is smaller too.

Would it take a large solar panel or would one of the smaller solar-packages that are for trickle charging work okay?

I have ran mine 2 weeks straight, no problems a few years back when vacationing down in Florida in August, 85watt solar panel, in full sun, pushes almost 8amps ~7.7, days of heavy clouds you might get almost 3.5amps I personally would not get a small panel.
I think the the ARB fridges on high power run a little over 3 amps.

If you have aftermarket alt and a good second batt your probably good to go.

A new battery is something I'm looking into. There's not really any room for a second battery. So I'm thinking about a 31M and a solar panel I can plug in when needed.

I want a high speed solar panel. Like a roof panel that still allows my antennas and I would like the two rear door Windows to be solar. :)

So was your old one broken?

No - this one is far more water resistant, easier to mount and much cleaner looking. :) I now have 2 spares - I will put one in the cubby and clean up the installation with this one.

Now that I look at it. It may not be 'far more water resistant' but it is cleaner. :)

Brown truck Christmas came yesterday to deliver my spindle gussets. Now I just need to find some time to burn them on. SDHQ was pretty good for the shipping. I sent an email asking if they had access to the part and had a response the next morning soon as they opened up.

Not sure about other spindles but on my 2nd gen taco.... Been there, bent that. Just moves bend point. There is a Toyota sponsored team that got away with a lot of races where all they did was re-heat treat the spindles. My favorite gussets that has elimimnated my spindle issues - or I should say, stabilized my spindle issues, were these:

By 'stabilizing' - I am saying that I am not sure if the spindles were straight when they were installed. I do know they have not bent since this was installed. I would love to see someone with a inspection jig or CMM to confirm the original straightness was confirmed after welding.

The ones that look good, although I am not convinced they are as strong as the ones that are used on military applications (the ones above) that would make even my use look like a gardener or mall crawler's application.

The ones that looks sexy are these and I could probably get my chains on for winter or mud wheeling:

Something is messed up. I tried to edit and it would give me a message saying that my message was too short. Then I switched to advanced mode and pressed save - it took but gave me two error messages. Didn't catch what they were.
