Saw the writeup over on RST. Nice job on explaining the process and listing the part numbers. Was the price on the new tube a "new" price, or did you source that from a breaker?

I'll take that actuator if you're giving it away. My spare clamshell has a bad actuator on it.

I'll have to unbolt it and test it but and I'll let you know. There was a lot of carnage so I'm suspecting to find the shift fork broken on that

Well, I have my non functional actuator with a good fork, so the motor is what I'm after. Just let me know what you find when you get it apart.

Installed new license plates. I'm sad to see my old Texas plates with the NASA astronaut and cactus go. I hate the new black & white plates with the "bro-star" on it.

I got tired of the standard Tx plates and went ahead with USMC plates on my Tacoma. They come in handy with tickets as well.

Due to a technical issue, my plates don't come up on the computer. A cop told me that and had assumed I was an undercover or fed. I'm okay with that too.
