What have you done to your ride lately?

My Tundra is about to his 250,000 miles so I’m doing a major service before I use it to tow my old Chevy six hours to a friend’s house.

I just ordered…

Spark plugs
Upper radiator hose
Lower radiator hose
Radiator hose clamps
Thermostat & housing
Serpentine belt
Idler pulley
Serpentine belt tensioner
Gear oil
Engine oil
Oil filter
Drain plug gaskets

Things I’ll probably get from the dealer when I get home but first need to see what I already have…

Coolant
Transmission fluid
Power steering fluid
Brake fluid
Brake pads and rotors (need to inspect first)

For some reason I don’t think it allowed me to use the 30 off and free ship, but I got a nice rated AGM battery for $145 using 25% off and free shipping on the parts that were not normally stocked.

I have yet installed that xsm pan though...
Like yota, Ferd doesn’t put drain plug on the transmission, easy fix with aftermarket parts.

^ Well that AGM battery in the F150screw hit the dust today, it didn't leave me stranded, but I knew something wasn't right when I jumped in and started the truck. No advance autos around me, but they do carry Diehard brand AGM Batts nowadays. I ended picking up H7 AGM Walmart battery for $179+tax.

$400 for three new trailer tires. The spare blew out from UV exposure (I'm guessing) but it was time to replace all three as they've been used and are old. I ordered a sun cover for the spare tire this time so hopefully that'll help prolong the life of the tire.

Sun shade installed.

It is not a war crime the first time.

Little side quest this morning to retrieve a drain plug that apparently is able to go into the space without stopping. At least it is a moderately quick in and out with only 1.5 qt of fluid needed.

Update: 11:30a test ride was successful and no just doing a leak test.

Got the wife’s Sorento back last night. Shop did out-fucking-standing on the work. Was leery of using Allstate’s recommended shop but extremely pleased with the results. Having the windshield replaced on my truck this morning because it got hit on my way to work Monday morning and cracked across the driver side at perfect eye level. Then an oil change and brake job on the Sorento and also need to have a new windshield out in my moms Palisade. My wife’s been driving it while hers was in the shop and the windshield on it cracked as well. It was already chipped but cracked top to bottom from that chip while my wife was driving it. So we’re getting it replaced for her for letting us borrow it for 3 weeks.

That's Mr Asshole to you
2nd oil change in 2 weeks on the 4runner. Tried to get away with reusing the drain plug gasket, but the drip stain in the driveway proved my gamble wrong. Went ahead and did the filter too since I used a Fram while trying to be convient. Replaced with OEM.

Also replaced the battery since it almost didn't start after the oil change. Batteries Plus was 2 weeks out on their AGM, so I did the AGM from Autozone. Still had the stock battery at 4 years so it was due at any time.

This is the second one of these I've pucked up off Amazon. The other one is on my other bike. Pretty happy with it and it cones with an attachment with regular jump cable style ends.

Swapped out my 2002 bench seat with one from an 06 model, this one is split 60-40 and has seats that flip up and down to be completely flat, whereas the old one only did a partial degree flip down on the back portion.

Here is the old seat for reference, hopefully I can sell on marketplace or craigslist for a little bit of recoup on the new seat cost.
