Great... I try to be adventurous and will worry about that for the next month. A lot of the expats here don't seem to have problems though. Only time will tell now.

I branched out last week and ate at a Peruvian restaurant (had some yucca sticks as appetizers) and then ate at a Vietnamese place. I was very happy with both. More so with the Vietnamese place. I could probably survive in Malaysia but I would get really hungry first before I tried it. I'm a wuss that way.

Found something that HEB makes that was horrible. Wife made the mistake and bought applewood smoked HEB brand bacon. Jeezus that was horrible!

I'm telling you. I never imagined bad bacon. Didn't think it was possible. But that shit made me think I was going to get food poisoning. Nasty!! Fortunately I am fine and I had a bacon burger last night for diner just to make sure I still loved bacon.

This was HEB brand, just applewood flavor. I like apples but apparently the wood has the flavor of shit.

I love that food. Plus when we glass those places and colonize them, we can have friendlys set up the same type of establishments. Maybe have a chain of TOR Mediterranean Cafes.
