Glad it was an easy fix, looks like the cable may have gotten to close to the exhaust at one point and time too, just make sure it didn't melt to the inner jacket otherwise you'll get corrosion inside the cable and turn into a nightmare down the road

Yea, it was sitting on the exhaust tube.

Still managed to do Cinnamon Pass, Wager Gulch, California Pass, Hurricane Pass, Corkscrew Gulch, Mineral Creek, Poughkeepsie Gulch and Ophir Pass (twice). The only pass that was planned and we didn't make was Stony Pass. It was raining pretty steady that morning, so we might have opted to not take it anyways. I've read that trail gets muddy on the east side of the pass with deep water crossings.

And the winch still works, which is good. I'll need to replace my syn line next year. It's 9 years old.

Shift cable needs to be replaced and the cable is on national backorder. The sheathing that melted is supposedly causing the sticky shifting issues thru to the shifter.

Replaced the original passenger side hub at 169k miles and the driver side yesterday. The driver side was replaced at 107k miles. Driver side pictured on top...
