I am not sure what I need from them; but I am sure I can find something.

I have been wanting a log splitter, but that's just another machine to maintain, probably best I just rent one.

Now we are on Veteran's Day (otherwise known as Marine Corps Sobering Up from the Birthday Day).

To all my fellow veterans here; hope you have a good day and no snowflakes screw it up. Maybe even some Veteran's Day tits and ass if you are lucky.

One of the nicest and most genuine Marines I ever met lost the hardest fight this week. Till Valhalla, Jeremy Reynolds.

When I was a new NCO to Golf 2/4 he was one of the first guys to really make me feel welcome to the company. We had a lot in common both being from the same area in Texas. Fuck PTSD.

Dang, sorry to hear this.

I'm trying to help a Veteran now, its actually my BIL he lost his best friend Zack in Afghanistan, with a direct hit by a RPG, they lived next door to each other, I also knew these kids as they grew up, I probably had some influence on them when they were kids and saw me in uniform over the years.
My BIL suffers from major ptsd/depression. Fishing poles are locked up around here, but basically I told him I would hire him for the next 3 months, and hopefully I can convince him to seek help, another reason why I'm not gonna buy/have any alcohol at the house/farm.

Looks like I am in for a fight with the VA again. My previous primary care physician retired last year. I was supposed to have my first appointment with the new PCP last week but the office cancelled it the same afternoon ( I was already headed to the appointment). This morning I logged on to re-order my meds for February and found all of my scripts have been discontinued. So I sent a few reminder messages to the PCP office. Will see where this goes but looks bad so far.

When I received the call about the cancelled meeting I specifically asked about my current scripts status and being continued until the next meeting. Apparently the concept was too much.

They would do better putting her on a truck mounted machine gun. Her "I'm-up-he-sees-me-I'm-down" times are not the sharpest. Still good on her for getting out there and going for it.

Yeah, she don't give shitz, she would probably wear and IED vest and probably take out a russian company if given the opportunity.

That would be a new kind of PTSD. In Vietnam they had to shoot women. In Iraq/Afghanistan they had to shoot children. In Ukraine they had to shoot grandmothers.
